Zoltan Sinka

Founder, co-director and lead engineer

Since establishing XKY Energy in 2015, the Founding and Co-Director has played a central role in developing the business into a trusted provider of sustainable and low-carbon energy solutions across the UK.

With a strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering and extensive hands-on experience in renewable technologies, the Co-Founding Director leads the delivery of innovative energy systems, including biomass heating, heat pump installations, and solar PV projects.

This role combines entrepreneurial leadership with deep technical expertise, ensuring that XKY Energy remains at the forefront of the clean energy transition.

Tibor Farago

Co-director and lead engineer

As Co-Director, Tibor plays a central role in overseeing the technical, operational, and project delivery functions of XKY Energy. Drawing on his broad engineering expertise and structured approach to project management, he ensures that every project is delivered efficiently, safely, and to the highest industry standards.

With an in-depth understanding of both conventional mechanical systems and modern renewable technologies, Tibor effectively bridges the gap between engineering design and on-site implementation. His ability to translate complex technical requirements into practical, high-performing solutions ensures that XKY Energy’s systems are not only innovative but also commercially robust, reliable, and built for long-term success.

Hanan Yassin

Company Secretary

Hanan joined XKY Energy in April 2022 as Office Manager and was soon promoted to Company Secretary, reflecting her dedication and strong organisational expertise. Despite being new to the renewable energy sector, she quickly developed a solid understanding of the industry and became a valued member of the team.
As Company Secretary, Hanan supports corporate governance and regulatory compliance, maintaining statutory records and ensuring legal requirements are met. She oversees company administration, internal coordination, and key documentation, helping ensure the business runs smoothly and effectively.

Lucy Lodge

Lead Service & Repair Engineer

Lucy has a strong background in mechanical engineering and is a certified biomass and heat pump engineer. In her role as Lead Service & Repair Engineer, she provides specialist technical support across a wide range of renewable energy systems.
With extensive hands-on experience in biomass, solar PV, and heat pump installations, Lucy offers expert guidance on system performance, maintenance, and energy efficiency solutions. She is particularly passionate about problem-solving and thrives on finding innovative solutions when complex technical challenges arise.

Rene Hanekom

Renewable installation Engineer

Rene joined XKY Energy in December 2022, bringing extensive hands-on experience from the building and construction industry. With a strong practical background covering multiple aspects of construction, he quickly became a valuable member of the team.

Although new to the renewable energy sector at the time, Rene rapidly developed a solid understanding of renewable technologies and their practical application. He soon established himself within our Solar PV installation department, where his technical aptitude, dedication to learning, and ability to understand complex systems have enabled him to thrive.

Combining his construction expertise with specialist renewable knowledge, Rene plays an important role in delivering high-quality solar installations and supporting the continued growth of our renewable energy services.

Laszlo Hajdu

Project Engineer

Laszlo joined XKY Energy in December 2023 after completing his diploma in Mechanical Engineering. At the start of his professional career, he brought a strong technical foundation, a positive attitude, and a clear eagerness to develop his skills within the renewable energy sector.

He quickly adapted to the demands of the role, demonstrating initiative and a willingness to take on responsibility. As Project Engineer, Laszlo supports the planning, coordination, and technical delivery of projects from initial design through to completion. His attention to detail, structured approach, and commitment to continuous learning make him a valued member of the XKY Energy team.

Cian Goggins

Heating Engineer

Cian joined XKY Energy at the beginning of 2026, bringing with him a strong background in heating systems and valuable industry knowledge. His willingness to learn and quickly develop his understanding of renewable technologies has made him a great addition to the team.
With his prompt, focused approach to his work, Cian continues to grow within the company while also supporting others through his experience and practical insight. His dedication and expertise play an important role in delivering high-quality heating and renewable energy solutions for XKY Energy.

Meg Francis

Apprentice Engineer

Meg reached out to XKY Energy in late 2025 to explore opportunities to gain hands-on experience within the heating and renewables sector while studying and training with SNIJEB.
Since joining the team, Meg has flourished. She has become a valued member of our installation team, consistently demonstrating enthusiasm, professionalism, and a strong willingness to learn. On a daily basis, she continues to develop her technical knowledge and strengthen her practical skills in the field.
We are proud to support Meg throughout her apprenticeship and look forward to seeing her continued growth and success within the industry.
